Daar kan verwag word dat aktuele onderwerpe tans ter sprake die vonke gaan laat spat op die Jaarkongres van Vrystaat Landbou wat 3-4 Augustus 2005 by Ilanga Estate in Bloemfontein gehou word.
Die tema van die kongres is die strategiese landbouplan en of dit volhoubaar is of nie. Mnr. Brand Pretorius, hoof uitvoerende beampte van McCarthy Limited, sal as spreker optree.
Vordering met die grondhervormings program in die Vrystaat, wat volgens boere vertraag word deur 'n onwilligheid om by markpryse te hou; die broeiende en sloerende veediefstal-situasie aan die Vrystaat-Lesotho-grens; verontwaardeging in landbougeledere oor die hantering van beoogde grondbelasting deur vier munisipaliteite; Agri BEE, ens.; is van die besprekingspunte wat na verwagting warm debatte gaan ontlok.

The Free State Business Bulletin reported in the February edition of this year that the construction of the Bloemfontein Convention Centre is due soon.
In order to check on the latest developments, we contacted Mr. Mar'c Scholtz, Marketing Director of Upstream Global, the company developing the convention centre.
Although Scholtz could not give exact dates, he confirmed that the development is still fully on track and that more detail is envisaged shortly.

Philip also does repairs on projection TV. All his work is guaranteed.
Philip's “receptionist” is still, as through the years, his wife Elna.
A new business that specialises in crystal and spiritual products has opened in Second Avenue, Bloemfontein - called Spirit, the business is supported by auxiliary services from Dr. Stella Steyn.
The owners, Johan and Anne-Maré Lotter, moved to Bloemfontein to open the shop to supply in support the growing demand for products of this nature.
Spirit is the first of its kind in Bloemfontein and they welcome all like-minded people to visit their shop seven days a week.
The hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-18:00, Saturday 8:00-13:00 and Sunday 9:00-13:00.

SA Breweries on 24 June 2005 held a beer tasting competition in Bloemfontein for the media fraternity. Winners was Radio Panorama in Hennenman. They will represent the Free State at the Media Beer Tasting Champions to be held at the World of Beer in Johannesburg in August.On the photo two marketing consultants of the Free State Business Bulletin who also participated, Tania van Huyssteen and Eljana Grobler.
