As a company with an unique, patented concept to transform pre-cast walls into modern-day structures, Classy Crete has just opened a branch in Bloemfontein. Classy Crete transforms existing pre-cast walls, no matter the age, in such a way that it can no longer be recognised as pre-cast structures. For instance thin concrete pillars can be widened to attractive columns, while panels can be decorated with copings to complement modern architecture.
Moreover, to erect a pre-cast wall and to Classy Crete it on both sides amounts to approximately half the price of a proper brick built wall. As such, Classy Crete with its exciting concept looks set to revolutionize the building industry.

The private healthcare sector in South Africa is growing at a pace, bringing first world standards, albeit at a price. Currently about 60% of spending on healthcare in South Africa is in the private sector, with less than 20% of the population benefitting from it. The state spends R33 billion on healthcare for 38 million people, while the private sector spends some R43 billion on 7 million people.
The South African healthcare system is an 'either or' arrangement. Either you have medical aid and go privately, or you use public facilities. On the supply side, doctors soon move to the private sector after graduation and only 23% of specialists work in the public sphere.
Four years ago, there were 161 private hospitals in South Africa, but now there are 200, which means 10 new private hospitals a year. This has caused considerable adjustment problems as regards private healthcare costs and medical aid premiums, etc. As such it poses a tremendous challenge in South Africa if a balance is to be maintained between healthcare quality and affordability.
