Nutrition products from fish waste
A new type of fish flour derived from waste such as liver and the head is close to commercialization as a cheap source for the fortification of food products. A manufacturer of a pie lidder has brought out redeveloped equipment, which is ideally suited for the African market. The machine is rugged, maintenance free and hand-operated, needing no electricity.
