Hydroponics project never off the ground

A hydroponics project on the farm Amelia near Sasolburg was in 2005 destined by the FS Dept. of Agriculture and the Metsimaholo Local Municipality to become a viable agricultural project for emerging farmers, but did not get off the ground evidently due to poor installation, lack of managerial capacity and skills and inefficient maintenance. These accompanying photo’s tell the story. Also evidently the millions of rands invested in the project are down the drain.
